CWP Introduces New ServoMaxIII® Servo Feeds
Cooper-Weymouth, Peterson of Formtek, Maine, announces the release of the ServoMax III feed control system, available on Cooper-Weymouth, Peterson and Rowe Machinery two-roll and four-roll feed systems. The ServoMax III delivers enhanced features of the popular ServoMax II, such as increased job memory to 999, increased torque output for capacity or increased production requirements.
The ServoMax III control provides accuracy to +/- .002" roll position, while absolute positioning feedback logic avoids accumulate error in continuous cycling, which is critical in close-tolerance, non-piloted blanking runs. Standard features include pneumatic pilot release, precision gear-driven rolls and user-friendly control programming. Optional features include high-speed pneumatic roll lift to 250 strokes per minute, or servo-pneumatic roll lift to 400 strokes per minute. The control system can also be adapted to most existing servo driven roll feeders.
Control options for specialized applications
Three high performance control options are also available - ServoMatrix®, for applications requiring multiple feed lengths within a pattern; ServoSensor®, for any application requiring precision accuracy of a pre-printed surface; and SpeedMatic®, which produces a very smooth velocity profile at any press speed.
